ABOUT ME!
Hey, Hey, Hey! Nice to meet you! If you’re here it means that you’ve stumbled into my little corner of the internet, and I’d just like to say WELCOME! I’m Marjorie! I am a proud NYC based Latina (Salvadoran-American) Equity actor, singer, dancer, producer, writer, etc. I am also a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of Arts where I received my B.F.A in Drama alongside a minor in Media, Culture, and Communications. During my time at NYU Tisch I trained at both Stonestreet Studios for Film & TV and the Experimental Theatre Wing where, upon graduation, I was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Studio Award at both Stonestreet and ETW as well as Tisch Drama’s highest honor, the Tisch Banner Bearer Award.
I am extremely passionate about art in all of its forms and firmly believe that storytelling whether it be on a stage, in front of a camera, or anywhere in the world can be used to unite people and ignite important conversations. In particular, I am passionate about BIPOC inclusion and representation in the media specifically of the black/indigenous Latinx community.
When not acting on a stage or in front of a camera, I can be found belting show tunes at the top of my lungs, reading the newest fantasy novel, cracking jokes with friends, or riding the most extreme and life-threatening rollercoasters at the amusement park because what is life without a little risk!
I am also heavily involved off stage as well as a founding member and co-producer of the NYC based theatre company Company della Luna (most recently known for their original musical Love’s Concordia Bar which debuted at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe) as well currently working as the Finance Assistant at 321 Theatrical Management, management home of Wicked, Death Becomes Her, The Outsiders, Purpose (2025 Tony Award Best Play Winner), and many more!
